Aqua Marine celebrates its first year of operation in June 2011. It has been an eventful and successful year with a gradual and study growth. Aqua Marine has become St Thomas’ number one dive operation and number two overall attraction as rated by TripAdvisor with an overall ‘excellent ‘customer satisfaction rating. Our web page www.divaquamarine.com has been visited by over 16 000 customers worldwide.
Aqua marina’s first location is at the Saga Haven Marina which is the 
departure point for excursion aboard the MV Second Wind. This luxury charter boat service is a celebration of our first year in service and caters to small intimate groups or families desiring a morning afternoon, evening or full day of intimate freedom on the sea complete with gourmet meal service, diving, snorkeling, beach exploring and local sight seeing form the water. Of course the 30 foot dive boat Aqua marine is also available for excursions and rental in addition to diving.
Aqua marine has recently proudly assumed the recreation services for Bluebeards’ Resort of the Wyndham estates and resorts. These services include snorkeling, scuba diving courses and excursions, charter cruises and of course water sports retail. Many of Aqua Marines dive excursions leave from the Bluebeards resort and there resort pool is the center for all confined water scuba training. Free scuba lessons are available each Sunday at 14:00 for all resort guests.
The key to our success in this first year of operation has been our loyal customer base which has established itself in response to our desire to provide high quality personalized service at a reasonable price point.
Excellent service at an affordable price has been our mainstay. Aqua Marine wishes to thank all its loyal customers over the past year. We have enjoyed some amazing dives the last few weeks and we wish to give you our top 5 dive sites of the month. They are:
1. French Cap Pinnacle and
2. French Cap Ledge – amazing visibility, lots of big fish and sharks, lobsters, eagle rays! Yes in multiples
3. WIT Concrete wreck - 5 sharks on one dive, followed by a very curious ray and a nice turtle
4. WIT Power wreck – deep but totally untouched and perfectly placed on the ocean bottom, very healthy corral growth and several schools of fish
5. Table Top – Simply amazing current and drift dives!

Dear Divers and Friends of Aqua Marine St Thomas, USVI
We are co
mmitted to providing divers with unique and fresh dive experiences. Although diving in the USVI and BVI is always a pleasure, we at Aqua Marine are dedicated to expanding the variety and choice of dives available to divers. Wreck diving is an especially exciting experience and the USVI and BVI is rich in the number of wrecks available to explore. As always there are rumors of many wrecks in the area and our adventurous spirit encourages us to explore every rumor. 
The process we follow in identifying new wreck dives is labor intensive but The Aqua Marine boat is equipped with state of the art GPS and depth sounder systems which make our explorations exact. We head into the approximate position of the rumored wreck and chart the bottom composition and depth changes on our color screen. When we notice significant differences in the bottom features we stop for an exploratory dive. If the dive proves to be of interest we mark the site and develop a dive profile which is then offered to our clients. Of the 25 wreck sites we have explored our Top Five are as follows:
countering as many as 15 turtles on one dive. It was not unusual to have a beautiful ray as curious about us as we were about it, accompany us for a whole dive. We observed the mating dance of the puffer fishes and even dove with the dolphins. You never know what you will encounter when you take the big step and enter the ocean. Once in the water and after signaling 'OK' to the boat, a look down begins the new underwater adventure. Are you ready for your next adventure?
